Sri Babaji taught us this Mantra in His Message from The Himalayas; this, during His life on earth between 1970 to 1984, when He left His body on St. Valentine‘s day. Sri Sri 1008 Haidakhan Wale Baba is the incarnation of Lord Shiva already announced years before by Mahendra Baba. He dedicated His life to Sri Babaji and travelled around India in search of Him and to tell people about this Mahavatar.

He appeared in the Gufa (cave) at the bottom of the Mount Kailash, located in  the northern part of India, in Haidakhan which is situated at the foothills of The Himalayas. He spent His life teaching His devotees three essential qualities  Satya, Saralata, Prem.

Truth, Simplicity and Love.

Mahendra Baba

For Babaji all religions were acceptable and He suggested we follow the religion of our heart. He placed humanity, or the practise of being human above all religions. Being a devotee (pupil) of Babaji is not only to follow Hinduism, the religion of India.

For teaching His Message to humanity He established an Ashram in Haidakhan. In the beginning this consisted of only one temple and one hut; slowly slowly the Ashram covered a huge area with many buildings for visitors. Now, the main Shiva temple, Babaji‘s Kutir, Italian temple and the Maha Skakti Dhuni are major areas of devotion. On the other side of the Gautami Ganga (holy river)  with the famous nine temples to various deities, the cave, (where  Babaji originally appeared) are also sights of pilgrimage and devotion.
